MY STORY
Why StemCore?
Hi, I'm Ali!
I’m a pharmacy student at Cardiff University with two years of Biology tutoring experience and three years of teaching Arabic, including curriculum design, one-to-one lessons, and leading modules.
StemCore was created from my own experience as a struggling student. I had to resit my AS level—not because I wasn’t capable, but because I lacked structure, guidance, and a clear way to approach STEM subjects.
Rebuilding my foundations taught me that students don’t fail from lack of intelligence, but from lack of method and support.
Once I redeveloped my methods, I reached university, leaving college with the A*s i needed in A-Levels. After that rollercoaster, I realised I wanted to help others avoid the struggles I went through.
That became the core idea behind StemCore: giving students clear strategy, strong foundations, and the confidence to excel in STEM without feeling lost or overwhelmed.
